A red carpet entrance and a sign that read “A Night with our Stars”, welcomed IST’s clients and key suppliers to our 2nd annual Plant of the Year Award Celebration. The evening started with cocktails and an upscale environment at the Normands Ritz-Carlton Restaurant in Orlando. The night followed with Hollywood entertainment and the moment everyone was waiting for the Plant of the Year Award announcement.

 

The Maalaea Power Plant operated by MECO was the chosen winner for 2008. To date IST has over 140 OTSGs operating in 18 countries around the world. IST recognized the Maalaea plant for their overall innovation and plant design and operation.

 

The fabulous venue, amazing food, Hollywood entertainment, and the guests who attended made this event a great success and a night to remember!

 

We look forward to honoring the 2009 Plant of the Year Award in Las Vegas, Nevada next December.
