Jazz bands played as guests, clients and staff of Innovative Steam arrived at the New Orleans airport. All were there to attend the first Plant of the Year Award event, which was held at Broussard's Restaurant, New Orleans.

GTAA was the chosen winner for 2007. To date IST has approximately 50 plants operating combined cycle, cogeneration or gas turbine injection OTSGs. IST would like to recognize these plants owners and operators for their innovation and acceptance of advanced technology.
This is IST’s first issue of it's annual Plant of the Year Award, which will be awarded to an IST customer each year who demonstrates the best practices of the OTSG technology and overall innovation in plant design and operation.

The venue, food and entertainment were excellent. Most of all, the guests who attended made this celebration special.

We look forward to honoring the 2008 Plant of the Year in December in Orlando, Florida.
